In 2015, the ultimate Hermes treatment was given to their classic Birkin bag, combining history and modernity in the Sac Birkin Sellier. This minimalist, classic design has been in production for over 35 years and continues to evolve. Five years later, the Maison’s master craftsmen perfected the Sellier Birkin, releasing limited examples of both 25cm and 30cm versions. This store-fresh 30cm piece is one of those rare examples. Unlike the original, today's Sellier Birkins feature fully lined interiors with all the classic pockets we've come to expect.

The leather used in this Birkin, Veau Monsieur, was introduced in 2018. It shares similarities with "the king of leathers," Box calfskin, thanks to its smooth grain and satiny finish. Over time, the leather develops a rich patina, making it more beautiful with age. It is a rigid leather, holding its shape well while offering a luxurious look.
